Where should I buy tickets?

I'm planning on coming to NYC city soon, and I want to know is it better to order tickets online or at the box office? Will it cost more or less online or at the box office? Where is the best place to sit??

At the box office you won't pay the booking fees you would online, but you risk the possibility of a show being sold out. It really depends on the show. Ditto for the best places to sit. It depends on the show, the theatre, and your personal preferences.
