I ask this once again (having posted about this a long time ago). I was just listening again to the "Bat Boy" recording and Deven May is f*cking AMAZING. Where is he? Why isn't he on Broadway? It seems that the only major thing he's done since then is, well, Bat Boy...again, in London. What gives?

He's on myspace! And he's my "friend". lol Yeah, I became a big Deven fan when I played Bat Boy for 3 months straight. He's great on that cast recording! "apology to a cow"=wow! He did Bonnie & Clyde at one of those theatre festivals and was at the flea market but, unfortunately, he's not doing anything that I know of right now.

Last seen playing to sadly 75 people a night in a 1400 seat theatre in London's Bat Boy.

Shame they tried to make a small show into a block buster musical in a larger sized house than it should have played..

It would have been great at The Venue playing to a probably packed 300 people a night.

Deven did a reading of a new musical in Toronto in December. I have a couple of friends who were there.

He's going to be in The Broadway Musicals of 1930 concert at Town Hall on March 6th...Directed by Marc Kudisch.

Well, I'm glad he's working (if somewhat sporadically). But this guy really should be in a Broadway show. Oh well.
