Loge or orchestra? Is the orchestra slightly steeped/angled?

When I saw it I sat House Right. I felt like there was more action going on, on my side of the stage. But the entire show is very balanced between the two sides.

I was 4 rows back in the Loge and I didn't feel like I missed anything. It's a fairly big space but it's also very intimate.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

i would say orchestra but definitely not too far on the right because you miss two bits of background action from the side and only a little bit of the entrance activity at the beginning if youre on the left.

I will be in NYC next week and "Light in the Piazza" is on my "to see" list. Has this show been up on TKTS as of late? Thanks.

Hey Dottie! Did your colleagues enjoy the cake even though your cat decided to sit on it? ~GuyfromGermany

i'm not sure about tkts dottie, but make sure you go see it. it's worth the full price. if you're a student you can get $20 tickets... i sat left center (L205)... it's a pretty great show no matter where you sit, but try to sit more towards the center.

I was sitting house left and felt like I missed a lot. Several scenes went by where we saw mostly actors' backs. Also could not see most of what happened above the procenium.

I would be less concerned with sitting too far back and just make sure that you are in the center section.

I don't think that there is a bad seat in the Beaumont, but that's just me. I would sit Orchestra, though, if that is an option.

Chance -- having seen both shows, I strongly disagree.

A was lucky to sit center orchestra, and recommend that. But if you have to sit on the floor to listen to the music, do!

The orchestra is raked, so it really doesn't matter how far back you are. And the loge isn't bad seating either, but like everyone says, for this show it's best to be center.
