tz0o, since this is a threatre class, I would also recommend Sweeney. Your teacher would do you a great service exposing you to this wonderful score. That said, if you can't get tickets or if it isn't approved, SPELLING BEE is indeed terrific. But, come to think of it, that may be a hard ticket too. Well, heck, you can't go wrong with HAIRSPRAY either.

I think it's great y'all are going to see Light in the Piazza. It's different from anything else on Broadway right now. Very rich and romantic. Well, Phantom is romantic, but Piazza is more thoughtful. Anyway, good choice, IMO.
