Well I did see Hairspray at the Neil Simon Theatre - once right after it opened, with the original cast, but then two years later after much of the cast had been replaced. My dilemma is I'm not really sure if I should count that as visiting the theater twice in my official count - it's really like a whole new show once the new cast came in.

Now I'm considering counting it a third time since I once thought I might want to see Catch Me if You Can, though I didn't go yet. I wonder though if that would count as a third visit seeing as it would also be an original cast, just like when I went there for Hairspray, so does that count as a new entity?

Please let me know how many times I can count Neil Simon. Thanks.

Tie between Longacre (La Cage) and Walter Kerr (A Little Night Music). Hopefully there will be a triple tie with the Al Hirschfeld later this year.

I'm curious now: have there been many (or any) revivals playing at the same theatre as the original production? Have you seen them?
