Get Grey Gardens! It's going to be a collectors' item. Enough changes will have been made for the Bway run to maybe warrent another recording. The score is much fun and already contains at least two soon to be standards.

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

Okay. Today I went to Best Buy/Barnes and Noble and I spent over $100 on cds. Here is what I got:

"My Fair Lady" OBCR

"A Chorus Line" NBCR

"Gypsy" OBCR w/ Ethel Merman

"Godspell" 2000 off-off Broadway cast (I had this already, but mine was completely scratched up).

"City of Angels"

"Funny Girl" OBCR

"Bye Bye Birdie"

"Les Miserables" Dream Cast Recording

"The Beatles 1" Again, I already had this put played it so much that it doesn't play anymore, and I know it is not Broadway . . . but it's the freakin' Beatles.
