Which Costume....

from any Broadway show would you most like to own?

Mine are:

1. Amneris' pale blue Strongest Suit dress - I actually had it made for myself

2. Glinda's "cupcake" dress (as Kristin Chenoweth so lovingly describes it). Although, given its poofiness it would only serve to make me look HUGE.

3. Maureen's cat suit from RENT

4. Amneris' wedding dress.

I really like the costumes from the Fashion number in Aida.

I also love Tammy's blue dress that she wears during part of Gypsy's "Let Me Entertain You" number in act 2. It has a high slit and an oriental design. It's gorgeous!

The costumes in "My Strongest Suit" are amazing! I really would like to have seaweed's shirt (blue and green flannel) from Hairspray. And Marks from Rent!

Marks Cohen's sweater is cool in a grunge nerd way.

I like the costumes that Sketch wears in the first scene of Hairspray and Link's finale costume.

I know I'm a guy, but my ideal outfit would DEFINITELY be Maureen's catsuit in RENT. OMG, if I were a girl, I would SO want that outfit :)

Mine would be Tanya's bedroom scene dress, provided Karen Mason came with it and stood around my apartment all day. I also like the Phantom's Red Death costume and Lumiere.

Any of AIDA's costumres would be awesome.
Also Norma Desmond's outfits in Sunset Boulevard. I loved the black and white outfit.

Hummm, Guess I could say "The Full Monty" but if my understanding is correct, it would defeat the thread as there wasn't that many. *chuckle*

I'll have to settle for Evita's dress when she sings DCFMA or something from Phantom.

Christine-I agree with Tammy's dress. It's beautiful!

I'd also like to wear the gold dress that Belle wears in "Beauty and the Beast" just to say I did.
