Marquise, that's probably true but I can't find a thing with a search. There's way too much erroneous material to sort through when you search 'evita recording' and I don't recall ever seeing this thread, so I wouldn't say it's as constantly posted as some other topics. Cut me a break, please.

basically it all comes down to the fact that most of us prefer the American premier with Patti, but Matt_G likes the movie soundtrack best...
I like some crazy world tour CD I found on footlight but it's not complete...

Honestly what you should do is go to a retail store (or even an internet site) that allows you to listen to clips of tracks from what's available and then decide from there which one you like best.
Everyone has their own personal favorite on this board and they're just going to try to get you to buy the one they think is best.
