Ann Harada or Natalie Venetia Belcon? I all the major women in Q will be nominated for a tony in May but this is kind of a foil to the wicked: idina vs. Kristin. So for supporting actress who deserves it more? I'd say Natalie

This is a pretty impossible topic! Avenue Q is the most brilliant new show of the season and the cast is superb! If I'd have to choose I guess Id say Ann Harda. I think she nails every comedic moment she has in the show. She sounds amazing (as does the entire cast). Her delivery of "The more you wuv someone" is wonderful. I find that Natalie rushes her way through jokes and it took a few viewings of the show for me to understand what she said in some spots. However, she makes every refrence to Gary Coleman SO funny and she is great during Schadenfreude. Just my opinion. I think they both have great chances at nominations and a win from one of them!
exactly why i made this topic i think no other year had 2 great shows with 2 amazing standout performances a piece in one category(best actress:you guys now from the boards from wicked) and Avenue Q's minor major gals **Reason why i didn't include Stephanie D'Abruzzo was cuz shes a lead and i believe she willb e nominated no matter what**

I have had this discussion with a few people and it's funny I think Stephanie and John will definetly be nominated for Tony's (and they are eligable for Lead nominations). I just see the lead catagories being a very strong race this year and them getting cancelled out and/or overlooked. I would almost like to see them nominated in the best featrued catagory (if the producers push for that) to ensure a win. But then there parts are much bigger then Ann's and Natalie's so its hard to say. What do u all think?
^yes, Avenue Q should win best score, sorry, Wicked people. (I mean, Wicked is the only CD with songs that I love that I have to skip half of the CD...that BETTER not win best score)
bway you need to see the show its 2 hours and 15 minutes of pure theatre magic.

I didn't see Ann Harada.... but I loooved Natalie. She was great! But out of any of the actresses from Avenue Q, Stephanie was my favorite. Amazing all around.
well, if we had to choose between the three main Q girls, everyone would choose Stephanie, this is why I think this is a good topic. The favorite is gone. I'd choose Ann Harada though. I'm not wild about Natalie. Mainly because I'm not really a fan of the Gary Coleman role. And I thought she did kind of the same thing "TAKE IT FROM ME!:)...gary coleman:/" The whole smile, then frown thing. It was getting old by the second act and I thought that she was only strong during her singing. Ann was great all around.
"Sing the words, Patti!!!!" Stephen Sondheim to Patti LuPone.
