i have them all on dvd to and LOVE THEM
This could so be a musical its camp enough hehe
What about Popular (the WB tv show). Can't you see it. Two girls (one popular, the other not) joining families. It'd be a cute off-broadway show.

Armistead Maupin's "Tales of the City"!! Last time I went to San Francisco, I was going thru the streets of Russian Hill, trying to find a reasonable facsimile for 98 Barbary Lane. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done that. from Roman in Austin, Texas
Sounds like Wicked, without the green thing hehe

Now I'm thinking...now that "Jerry Springer" became a opera.
So how about "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"???...it must be a really funny musical.
House - it oucld aheva hit song called "im not a ****if im always right" but no seriously i think family guy needs as tage show with david hyde pierce as stewie.
Wow, it really does. Nevermind
n69n, YOU ARE A GENIUS!Strangers with Candy all the way!But only if Amy Sedaris could play Jerri. I mean who else would play her? Harvey Fierstein?
Could Harvey do her smile? No.
Strangers With Candy would be an AWESOME musical. I think they need the original cast from the show to do it, though. Stephen Colbert sings in the one where he wants to be a rock star, and he's not that bad, same with dancing. Neither is Paul Dinello. And I don't think anyone could replace Amy Sedaris. How awesome would it be to have a "friendship" song for Noblet and Jellineck? ^________^
What about Beth Leavel as Mrs. Blank?
I'm extremely fond of those wonderfully quaint BBC comedies - Are You Being Served?; No, Honestly!; To The Manor Born and Waiting for God.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It has already ben proven that it works as a musical. The musical episode was the best episode ever.
Ab Fab would be a great comedy musical.
Blackadder- The Musical!
The thing with TV show's is that the cast is so iconic that a stage version would have to be such a departure from the show to do well. Like the Brady Bunch Movie vs. Bewitched, it has to parody or else people don't buy into it.

pandajen - Blackadder as a musical would be absolutely HILARIOUS. I could definitely see it doing really well off-Broadway.
I think it'd be cool if there was a musical based off a game show, like Wheel of Fortune/Millionaire/Family Feud/etc, in which the contestants play and talk about their past and stuff. Kinda Spelling-Bee-esque.
Love the Blackadder idea. The first act could be in one period and the second act in another.
Bring Back Baldrick!
TomMonster, love the idea of different eras!!! If it were up to me, I think the first act should be the second series and second should be the one in WWII. But this would be an awesome musical. I mean, the TV show already has an awesome theme song!
Baldrick definitely needs his own song. Or maybe a duet with Percy.
Sex in the City, Laverne and Shirley.
