After Wedding Singer has run its course and the world is craving another dose of 80's nostalgia, how about a small musical based upon "Square Pegs"?
'Double Trouble' or 'The Facts Of Life' would be fun but 'The Wonder Years' would be brilliant!
isn't there already a Facts of Life musical with all men playing them? or is that not a musical?

My first thought when I read the title of this thread was Cheers, but I have to also agree with those who said Strangers With Candy. I can almost taste the potential brilliance!

The Aprentice have been turned into musicals! (The Aprentice is still in workshops)
No...it's not.
Then what happened to it? Because it was schedualed to open this year.
"Weeds" might make a fun musical.
Sex & the City could be pretty cool onstage.
uncageg, I was thinking the same thing.
Strangers With Candy--fun idea. Who would star? and who would compose it? Imagine Sir Andrew, or Sir Elton...
Could Puccini do porn...?
Well, they've announced a Designing Women play, but I really think it could work as a musical! WITH the original cast. Annie Potts, Dixie Carter and Delta Burke ALL have musical theater experience AND Jean Smart can do anything!!! It would be fantastic!
i like the idea of sex and the city
all Aaron spelling shows yeaaaaaaaaaah (i miss him already)
I love you WestEnd! Imagine "Charlie's Angels" with the Tarzan team of flyers.
I miss him too...

The sweet life of zack and cody..... NOT!
The Colbert Report.. just a musical poking fun at punditry, could be absolutely hilarious.
How about Six Feet Under? That would be an interesting musical.
it's hand in hand with happy days,
but laverne and shirley. all the way.
starring...
cara cooper and jenn gamby? julie reiber and jenny powers?
i mean come on... you've already got the opening number set! "one two three four five six seven eight..."
Queer as Folk never got past its workshop phase as a musical at the leeds playhouse(it was based on the uk version not the awfull american version)
The show was quite gritty and had some great ideas
Melrose Place starring Heather Locklear!!! (wishful thinking)
I love melrose place
the lyrics can be bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch hehe
Melrose Place is my all time favorite show. I have every episode on VHS...all seven seasons! I hope to buy it on DVD if it is ever released.

How about The Sopranos? The songs could be "F***" "F*** (reprise)" and "F*** (finale)"
Kidding, of course.
Threadjack: A&E is airing The Sopranos in 2007-- how much will they leave in?
