"Which Way To The Party" from Wicked?

Im sorry... I know you wanna kill all Wicked fans but....
Has anyone heard or own the song "Which Way To The Party" from the original verison of Wicked. I heard it was terrible thats why they replaced it with Dancing Through Life.

Yup I've heard it before. IT was cute, but I definitely liked Dancing Through Life better (as shown by my username) :)

You can see the cast rehearsing the song on the "Broadway: The American Musical" DVD. It's in the Wicked special part.

Yeah I've heard it and while I did enjoy it I'm glad they replaced it with DTL.

I heard it awhile ago and found it to be pretty horrid; believe it or not Dancing Through Life is 100x better. =)

"which way to the keg of Winkie beer..." or something...

I liked it a little better. Sure it sounded different but i liked certain parts. I also liked how the danced a lot more.

I thought it was just as good, although it wasn't really fitting with a lot of the show. It makes Fieyro look like a brainless party boy rather than a caring more gentle brainless party boy.

I really like the Ozdust Chrous bits in the middle of the song though. Really nice stuff. But neither song is really wonderful.

I just got my Wicked CD and now i guess i can say i'm a def. Wicked-head. I still love RENT (the all time best musical ever) but man, wicked is cool. I love Dancing throuhg life, listened to it 4x the first time i heard it....

both songs are aweful.

at LEAST "Which way is the Party" is upbeat and fun. So It gets my vote.

I think DTL is as bad as anything the wizard sings. There's not a point...

and RENT isn't the best musical of all time...

Thanks so much EponineThenardier for the song... I love it... but Dancing Through Life rocks too!

I dont like the original Boq. He's too whimpy sounding. Cheno n Norbert sound amazing!

Kirk MacDonald (San Fran Boq) took the geeky Boq idea waaaay too far. He's a talented guy with a lovely voice but this is was not the right role for him. Glad they recasted for the Broadway production.


I really wish they hadn't made Boq out to be a nerd and whimpy. He was my favortite character in the book, much more tragic and much stronger than they make him out to be in the muscial.
