President and Mrs. Lyndon Johnson famously attended the whitest show ever done- HELLO, DOLLY! -with Pearl Bailey and Cab Calloway. Wrap your brain around that.

Didn't the Kennedys also see CAMELOT? Wasn't Jack's fondness for the last scene part of they mythology that equated their administration with the Round Table myth?

Carol Channing and the cast of HELLO, DOLLY! also did a shortened version of their show at the White House for President and Mrs. Johnson.

I don't know if either of the above casts were multi-racial. I rather doubt it in the case of CAMELOT.
