On a DVD, she's in the ensemble, but her star has risen quickly. She's luminous. She's been in vaudeville more than once, in love with a newspaper man and a bat, and is currently a card carrying union worker. From New York City to Italy, who am I?

This actress recently appeared in the film version of a popular musical. She's currently in Cooke County, Illinois, but recently took a summer-trip to ancient Greece with one of her more frequent co-stars.
