39 occasions of the word "Wicked" that I could find.
About 89 of "Into the Woods" give or take.
About 18 of "Sweeney Todd" while the word "Sweeney" is given 58 times. The word "todd" is given 82 times. Though that is not accurate because the libretto states the name "Todd" when an action occurs.

These aren't perfectly accurate because of the number of times the titles of songs are repeated so subtract about 8 from the actual number.

Hey you're posting on a Broadway Message board, you're not one to poke fingers. I just accept it. You're in loser denial.

It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story... AGATHA CHRISTIE, Life magazine, May 14, 1956

Still don't see it DefyingEDCT? The first song in Wicked, "No one mourns the Wicked" uses the word "Wicked" 20 times, (including spoken words). Not that there is anything wrong with it.

Then you have Wicked Witch of the East.

But what, would it be better if they called the show, "The Life and Times of The Wicked Witch of the West"...im sure they didn't say all that.

we are the Altar Boyz,
we think that church is super fine,
we are the Altar Boyz,
we love the wafers and the wine,
we are the Altar Boyz...

Scott Porter (Matthew) concluded that song at Bloomingdales with: "in case you didn't get it the 30 times we repeated it just now, we are the Altar Boyz."

I think if the name of a show is also a characters name it should be an expection. Dont ya think it would be envitable they would say the person's name over and over?
