"I don't really get the ending,all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang,and later she kissed him on the toilet,after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung,and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen,and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady?Please help me,thank u very much!"

I am so with u, redhot...they are all sentimental junk, and in the case of "Miss Saigon," much worse. Using those films was porographic in the truest sense of the term...
And just this morning someone posted "Schindler's List" as a source musical...let's trivialize the Holocaust for profit! Yeah!

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
CATS is my second favorite of these 4 shows. Even though the LES MIS score has some nice songs in it, I didn't like the show at all - too much pathos for me. And MISS SAIGON... ugh... just a lousy copy of the opera MADAME BUTTERFLY, with nothing new to the story, predictible plot and a bad score. Sorry, MS fans.

Les Mis, hands down, no question.
Miss Saigon is a distant second, followed by Phantom, and Cats is little more than kitty litter to me...

1. Phantom (There will never be another feeling like when I saw it for the first time when I was 10. Say what you will about ALW or that the show is "overrated." When a work truly and genuinly affects someone and changes their life, don't insult them and their emotions by saying that it's "wrong" and that it shouldn't have that effect because you don't respect the work. Respect your fellow theater-goer's emotions and opinions.)
