Which performer would you most like to see onstage? Preferrably this would mean someone you have never seen before, but would love to get to see them perform in person. I guess mine would have to be Anthony Warlow (see icon). I think I own all of his recordings and would love to see him in a show here in the US. However, I am pretty sure that won't happen....I don't think he wants to be away from his family in Australia for a long period of time. Being a classically trained baritone as well, I have always enjoyed his voice, style, and interpretation. I think his "This is the Moment" from the J&H Concept Recording is by far the best rendition! (Sorry the first time there was some error and caused my post not to post)
"You pile up enough tomorrows, and you'll find you are left with nothing but a lot of empty yesterdays. I don't know about you, but I'd like to make today worth remembering." --Harold Hill from The Music Man
I guess this could also mean which past performer would you have liked to have seen perform. Like Mostel in Fiddler, or Preston in The Music Man, Merman in Gypsy, etc. I personally would love to have been in the Winter Garden to see Jolson back when he was the toast of Broadway.

I too would LOVE to see Anthony Hopkins back on stage. I just don't think it will ever happen. As wonderful as he is at it (see his reviews for Pravda for instance) I know he really hates it and has said he'll probably never go back to the stage.

Ethel Merman in Gypsy Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl Fanny Brice in the Ziegfield Follies Zero Mostel in Fiddler on the Roof Julie Andrews and Rex Harrison in My Fair Lady Jennifer Holliday in Dreamgirls Joel Grey in Cabaret
In anything: Anthony Warlow, George Hearn, Ruthie Henshall, Nathan Lane, Roger Bart, Angela Lansbury, Elaine Stritch, Dame Judi Dench, Bernadette Peters, Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland, Patti LuPone, Patrick Wilson, Philip Quast, Joanna Gleason, Audra McDonald...
I have often wondered if there was an old tape/film from the show. Maybe from the Tony's or something. Just a bit of the two of them somewhere. That would so be worth seeing. I have to agree. Of todays lot I would love to see Brian Stokes Mitchell in concert, Anthony Warlow in concert (I have been watching him in the OZ production of Patience) and Michael Ball in concert (His current UK tour is supposed to be fantastic)
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space
I would love to see Patti Lupone live in anything, as well as Bernadette Peters, Colm Wilkinson, Anthony Hopkins, George Hearn, Angela Landbury, Glenn Close, George Hearn, Hugh Jackman, Nathan Lane and Patick Wilson.
I would love to see Angela Landsbury, Judy Garland, Judy Kaye ( singing "Being Alive", Patrick Wilson, Carol Channing, Yul Brynner and Gertrude Lawrence in "The King and I", and ill think of more later...
Okay, let's see: Raul Esparza (t..t..B!) Adam Pascal (RENT) Anthony Rapp (RENT) Idina Menzel (RENT) Marc Kudisch (Assassins) Neil Patrick Harris (Assassins) Michael Cerveris (Tommy) Jeffrey Kuhn (Wicked) Kristen Chenoweth (YAGMCB)
I would Kill to see the original casts of Chicago(70's),Pippin, A Streetcar Named Desire, HAIR, True West(80's) and Rocky Horror at the ROXY in LA.
Technically I've seen the productions of True West and Streetcar but a taped soundstage performance and a movie can't always live up to the real thing.

Julie Andrews, Audrey Hepburn, and Meryl Streep in just about anything!
Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.
