She'll take a leave of absence. It's not uncommon, especially during pilot season...

Has anyone bothered to check the weekly grosses for BAREFOOT? It's doing decent business and the word-of-mouth on it is great.

Whoever said the Pajama Game is likely to close soon is out of their minds. It's been running near, at, or above full capacity for almost as long as it's been open. Highly unlikely candidate for closing. My votes go to Barefoot and Ring.

It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

Amanda will most-definately take a leave of absence to film Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. It's set for 13 episodes in the fall on NBC. The pilot is said to be filming over the next few weeks, so expect her leave rather soon.

Except that it's a limited engagement. Its closing date has already been set.

How much longer can Phantom run? I'm sure it has some years left in it, but I wonder if the the new flashier Vegas version will cause its Broadway counterpart to close earlier than it otherwise would have.
I Wish... Madeline Kahn could have played the Witch in Into the Woods. She would have rocked!

The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels sit down in DC will close in two years. Bush and Cheney's contracts will be up.

I'm suprised someone with the name Elphaba would be saying that.

I was scared for Sweeney through the winter a little, but they seem to be improving.
I also worry that it'll close soon after Micheal and especially Patti leave

For Sweeney, I dont think they should milk it for all that it's got, and once the casts leaves, just close it I mean how can the replacement cast be any better?

I think Sweeney has another yeat left at least!
Ring of Fire next to go (Company replaces ?? love it to happen!)
I can not see Lestat and Hot Feet lasting too long!
Beauty and The Beast i think will close at the end of the year or early next

Company, i think, needs a smaller theater. How about the Royale (or whatever it's called these days) or Circle in the Square
