Mistress, Okay!!!
MEF, I try to go to Seattle as often as possible. The Paramount Theatre on Pine is much more beautiful than the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, both in architecture, layout and acoustic design. I've heard Fifth Avenue Theatre is good too. This year was pretty good for touring productions in Seattle, but I didn't have time to make it to any of them. (I was hoping to catch Hairspray and The Lion King but didn't make it.)
Ideally, I'd take a trip to SF, which should have some great theatre as well.

If we are counting ushering then I've seen Richard III about 10 times.
Tiff, I've always wanted to see Alegria. I didn't know you could get paid to usher for Cirque?! How much did you get? I so wanna do that.

Eppy, yep you get paid. You need to apply for the temp agency that Cirque goes through. (I believe all across North America, they use Adecco.) The pay is actually very good, but Adecco takes about 50% of your wage, so you only wind up with barely over minimum wage.
Definitely worth it if you can get a job with them though. You get access to the same kitchen and cuisine as the performers, which has been featured on the Food Network, and the cast is a lot of fun.

rent - i've lost count...
once i find one that i love, i tend to stick with it for a while, although i go to see "rent" pretty often just because it's there and no matter who's in the cast, it's the best

Posted: 2/20/05 at 6:05pmHaving just been to NYC for the first time, I've only seen anything on B'way once. Other than that, the embarrassing winner has to be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at 3, possibly 4 times. It's a guilty pleasure show... ;0).

Wicked, 5 times. Luckily for my wallet, 1 of them were for free, and two were with my college (so $25 instead of $60 or whatever)...
Chicago 5 times.

The national tour of Joseph... with Donny Osmand- four times (and all before I was ten! my mom was obsessed, and dragged me along since I had an early interest in theatre)
Next are West Side Story, Footloose and Beauty and the Beast, which I've each seen twice, though never the same exact production. (Same Footloose production, different casts)
And then I've seen the WSS movie at least 14 times in the past two years, last time I counted...

*The Boy from Oz
*Les Miserables
*Passion
*Aspects of Love
are my top multiple musicals-watching shows, both on Broadway and the West End. I have seen a few others between 2-5 times. Come to think of, I do watch movie musicals a lot of times, too
I hardly recall seeing a straight play ( drama or comedy) more than once. Maybe occasionally. Although I have unexpectedly bought tickets for two performances of the coming production of Julius Caesar.

The original production of HELLO, DOLLY!--47 times (Carol Channing, Ginger Rogers, Martha Raye, Betty Grable, Bibi Osterwald, Pearl Bailey, Phyllis Diller, Ethel Merman)
The Pearl Bailey revival --10 times
The 1st Channing revival--12 times
The 2nd Channing revival-- 15 times (I would have seen this more, but I came down with a bad case of shingles during its run)
On tour--Mary Martin, Dorothy Lamour, Eve Arden and Totoe Fields.
I've grown to like the show.

I've seen Rent 24 times and haven't seen it in awhile... I feel like number 25 should be special and I guess I need to wait for circumstances...
Saw Gypsy with Bernadette 11 times, but the show itself (counting any and all productions), I've seen 19 times.
Rocky Horror 13 times, 7 of those with my beloved, darling Daphne.
In that vein, I saw Anna in the Tropics 8 times for pure Daph love.
And, not as notable, but I've seen Wicked 4 times which I think is pretty extreme for someone who doesn't even really like Wicked that much.
