I know Christine Baranski, Carol Burnett, Earth Kitt, Shirley MacClaine, Ann Miller, and of course Elaine Stritch all have....but what about Chita Rivera? Liza Minnelli? Barbra Streisand? Barbara Cook? Bette Midler? Patti LuPone? Betty Buckley? Bernadette Peters?

I ask because I was gather cliping to edit into a mix, but have only found the ones mentioned above...

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Streisand performs the song (with alternate lyrics to poke fun at her persona) in a medley on her Barbra: The Concert DVD.
Barbra Streisand "I'm Still Here" (Medley)

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

I don't think that Angela Lansbury has ever performed it.

I wish Liza would perform "I'm Still Here".

This makes me want to listen to her disco version of "Losing My Mind".

There's foootage out there of Eartha Kitt singing it when she replaced Dolores Gray in the awful 1987 London production.

Don't know about Ms Arthur, but you would surely think at some point she had. Polly Bergen sang it in Follies, and though it was never recorded, it was on the Drama Desk awards and the Tonys.

"Honestly, Carol Burnett's is nothing to get moist over, either."

Yes, she misses it in some places. For example, she falls back on one of her goofy comedy routines when she sings "I've gotten through Herbert and J. Edgar Hoo-woo-ver"

Not a theater person, but I've always wanted to hear Tina Turner sing it. Not only has she lived it, but the fierceness of her voice would highlight the toughness of overcoming and coming out on top.

My friend David rewrote the lyrics and sang it at his 40th birthday party. That's so totally gay, but I love it so much.

And PJ, I laughed so hard at the Charo album. I wish we could show her this thread. I feel she would love it.

Official documents in Murcia, Spain (where she was born) and the United States indicate she was born in 1941, but Charo insists she actually was born in 1951, a claim that has been upheld in court (see below).

The performer has said in past interviews that her parents allowed her to falsify her age to appear to be older after marrying 66-year-old band leader Xavier Cugat when she was 15.[2] Further complicating the question is the fact that contemporary press reports gave her age at marriage as 21,[3][4] an April 1966 column on the wedding plans stated she was 20 and Cugat was 60,[5] and columns less than two years before the marriage refer to her as Cugat's "18-year-old protegée"?which, if she was falsifying her age, would have made her actually 13 at the time.[6]

In October 1977[7] ? the same year in which Charo filed for divorce from Cugat and became an American citizen ? a United States court upheld the 1951 birth year as official, with the performer providing a sworn statement from her parents in support of her claim.[8] Commenting on the disputes over her age, she has said that the public's disbelief could prove advantageous: "But if people really believe I'm older, that's fine. Don't be surprised if I come out with my own cosmetics, a new energy bar and maybe some vitamins."

That's from Wiki, so take it with a grain, but when I heard she had legally had her birth certificate changed I loved her even more. I really want to go to Hawaii to see her perform.
