Which would you recommend?

Next to Normal, or West Side Story?

For a family of 5, only 2 of which are real theatergoers?
For my friends family. I'm helping her decide.

Next to Normal
Its such an amazing show and an emotion experience.
WSS has been done before I'm sure its good but N2n is better

How old are the kids in the family? That would change a lot....and who are the theater folk?


I wouldn't reccommend WSS to anyone since I think it is a terrible production lacking any soul. N2N is amazing....but not for everyone.

Like dramamama said it does depend on the age of the kids in the family. However, just talking about quality, I would recommend Next to Normal over this production of West Side Story any day.

I am not a fan of N2N but if given the choice, N2N over this revival of WSS any day!
