White Christmas...last night of previews

Posted: 10/25/08 at 1:07pmWe are seeing White Christmas on 11/22 at 8pm. This will be the final performance of previews since the show officially opens on 11/23. What differences do you think there are between the final preview performance and the official opening night performance?

Posted: 10/25/08 at 1:17pmProbably none. White Christmas has been playing regionally around the holidays for a few years, so I don't think there is going to be a difference in the preview and post-preview performances.

Posted: 10/25/08 at 2:33pmGroovy! That's exactly what I was thinking/assuming and exactly what i wanted to hear! The performance I am going to has lots of seats and, of course, the next night - opening night - is sold out. I was just wondering if someone else knew something I did not!

Posted: 10/25/08 at 5:14pmThe preview performances for this show are probably for the cast to get used to the theater, not to make changes to a show that had continually been a hit over the years. Also for this cast to get used to performing together.
