Since this show is being considered a musical as opposed to a theatrical event, does anyone think it has a chance at any nominations? (Book, Score, Acting, Techs) I haven't heard it thrown around at all as a contender.

I was really unimpressed with it. The only thing I could possibly see it getting nominated for is choreography, but it definitely wouldn't deserve to win, just to be recognized. I also think it would deserve a nomination for score, but I assumed it wouldn't be elligible since even though it's new to Broadway it's not new music. That's just my opinion though, and I might be biased since I really didn't enjoy the show.

If the female acting categories weren't as strong as they are this year, I could see Kerry O'Malley getting put in in featured....but since those categories are so fiercely competitive this year I just don't see it happening.

Oh, this makes me laugh.
In the 60's the category of "Best Actress in a Musical" would feature Barbra Streisand, Bea Lillie, Tammy Grimne and Carol Channing all competing for the same award.
THAT was "fiercely competitive".

It's mostly just Janney and Ripley fangirls fighting it out.
I think the set and a couple of the other technical elements will get a nod. Really beautiful stuff.
