I feel so left out! I love Jersey Boys so much and I was rooting for them at the Tonys. I still have yet to see it, but I'm hoping to as soon as I can. Until then I will continue to spread the love.

When and why is Tittus leaving the show?
Tituss has been cast as The Cowardly Lion in the LaJolla production of The Wiz.
He's leaving July 30th.
Don't feel left out, Brunette!

Awe, that's great. How did I miss that? Des certainly seems to like working with cast members form old productions in his new projects.

Do feel left out, I haven't seen it either.
I'm happy for Tituss - this guy went from Good Vibrations to a hit show, and now he's going to get to rise up and play a bigger part.
I agree elphie, about Tituss. Good for him and I wish him much success with The Wiz. He is a sweet guy with a ridiculous amount of talent and an insanely high voice!!

I am yet another one of Elle's converts! She took me for her sixth and my first time three weeks ago from yesterday. We saw Dominic Nolfi go on as Bob Gaudio (a bit disheartening at first to hear that my favorite Jersey Boy would be out, but it turned out to be phenomenal). Loved the show, loved the fact that fishergirl loved the show. :)
I love converting my friends :).
Dominic was so fantastic! I really want to see him go on as Tommy or Frankie.

I fell in love with Daniel's voice on the cast recording, but I still have yet to see/meet him, which just makes me frustrated! Haha. This means I'll have to come back yet again for your birthday, Elle.

All the Boys are fabulously talented. I'm so glad the show has taken off, and am amazed by the amount of people who denounce it as a typical jukebox musical without even having seen it. My mom has loved The Four Seasons for as far back as I can remember. I can't wait to see the show again with her by my side! We are going tomorrow night (belated Mother's Day gift). We've got great seats, and she's going to have such a blast!

Jersey Boys is honestly the best show on Broadway right now. You know the other day, (as I always do when I'm rushing the show)I was reading the one review of Hairspray that said "So many numbers bring the house down, it's amazing the theatre is still standing." I always think to myself, that's probably more approiate to say at Jersey Boys cause literally everytime I go, there's just thunderous applause for just about every song in the show, especially Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like A Man, and Can't Take My Eyes Off You.
I've seen the show five times(4 times with John, Christian, and Bobby; the only one at of the four that's been in all five times is Daniel), and I want to keep going cause I just love the show. The last couple of times I went, I did something I never do at a show, give a standing ovation for after a number. The first one was after Michael Longoria did Can't Take My Eyes Off You and more recently last Sunday after John did it.
This is kinda of a funny story about last sunday. Now, I know that the show main audience are all of the old people that grew up with the songs and the originals, but it was really funny last sunday when my sister, my mom, and I were waiting for rush and this bus of I don't know how many old people came up and all of these old people came out and alot of them had Jersey Boys buttons on them. So we would joke and say "Do you think they're seeing Jersey Boys?", but the amount of old people out of that bus looked like they could have filled up at least half of the orchestra seats.
One final thing, Does anybody ever encountered maybe rude people waiting at the stage door? You know like the old woman who squeezes herself past you to get your spot and doesn't leave? That's happened to me a couple of times. The first time was my birthday(of all the times for it to happen), you know I was just standing there and Daniel was out autographing and me and my sister and a friend of mine were next and this group of old ladies just walked right past us and plopped down right there, I was really ticked and said something under my breath to my sister and friend and I think one of them heard me cause she kinda gave me a dirty look. The other time was last Sunday, we let this old woman ahead so she could get Mark Lottio's autograph and she just stayed there. I looked at my mom and she said to the lady could you move, and I forget what the lady said but my mom said "Well my son was standing there.", and you know she moved, but I eventually moved out of that spot cause I was getting really claustrophobic in that crowd especially when Christian and Donnie came out, cause the crowd just came alive and there was all this shoving going on.
worrell4077, what a wonderful essay of sorts :). That's how I feel about the show too.
And I could go on forever about the rude people at the stage door! I brought a friend to see the show once, and her favorite cast member was Christian, and I wanted to introduce her to him. He came out, and all of a sudden, people pushed and shoved. I tried to be calm and just said, "Wait, he'll get around to everyone." However, everyone was being very rude to each other, and he had his son with him, so he left! I definitely understand his reasoning! I wish people would be more civil at the stage door.

I was just at the show this Tuesday night and Dominic Nolfi was on for JLY. He was pretty amazing. The rest of the cast is just wonderful. Its great to hear that they are all staying for a while longer. For me, it might just loose a little bit of it's flair once the original 4 guys are gone.
I love the show, I've seen it 3 times and have tickets for the show when it comes to LA. I've met the guys and they are all incredibly sweet. JLY and I have exchanged emails and letters and I have also kept in touch with Michael.
I am so glad to hear Dominic was great. He was on for Daniel last time I saw the show and was fantastic.
