Who Saw The Fall Broadway Preview on ABC?

Cohosted by Joanna Gleason. It was great!

Fantastic clips of Chita. Had clips of IN MY LIFE, COLOR PURPLE, and more.

Also showed clips of replacements like Brooke Shields and Rosie.

And they suprisingly ONLY gave Sweeney a mention.

Great half hour to promote Broadway.

I didn't see a post about it. Did you watch?

I watched it and it didn't get me pumped enough for this season. Couldn't they just show ONE LOUSY CLIP OF "THE ODD COUPLE" OR "SWEENEY TODD" FOR CRYING OUT LOUD????????????????

I watched. Good little hint into what to see. Didn't really get much from the stills of Sweeney, though.

Hmm. What plays did they mention? Do you remember? (Sorry I'm so curious. I wish I had seen it.)

Pretty much all of them. They did show the Woman In White, but there were no videos of the actual performance. They did talk about the background, however.

Yes. Had a section on WIW.

Had quite a bit on NAKED GIRL. Had a bit on ABSURD PERSONON, Souvenir, and Suprisingly a lot on LATIONOLOGUES.

Also had clips of DOUBT.

That tour of Broadway looked pretty interesting. Maybe I should try that sometime.

Frankly, I thought it kind of sucked. It was very uneven, spending quite a bit of time on some shows and barely a moment on others. Some shows featured scenes from rehearsal halls or the theater, others they just referenced. It was weird.

they showed footage of the flea market. i thought they could've cut that out and showed more clips of shows.
