re: Who Would You Meet?

David Hyde Pierce
Did you ever see something and say, "I just have to have it"? Sometimes a dream appears unattainable...but for anyone who's on the downside of advantage, and relying purely on courage, it's possible.

I've said it before. Alan Cumming. I've been wanting to meet him for years. Other than that, it was Raúl Esparza but I finally met him after waiting a looooong time.

All the Q gang (including Messrs. Marx & Lopez), but first, foremost, and most especially, Rick Lyon. re: Who Would You Meet? (Yeah, I know, I know, I'm the only one who's that way about him. ~~sigh~~)

Agreed that David Hyde Pierce would be fun to meet, too.

re: Who Would You Meet?

Frances Ruffelle and Max Von Essen. The most famous Broadway person I've met thus far is Micheal Crawford, and it wasn't all that exciting.

re: Who Would You Meet?

Definitely Jonathan Larson, without a doubt. I'd also like to meet JRB, Idina Menzel, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, Raul Esperanza, and basically everyone else in the Rent OBC and Avenue Q OBC.
The music ignites the night with passion and fire. The narration crackles and pops with incendiary wit.- Rent My name is Miranda, and I have a Godspell problem.

5. "The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys

re: Who Would You Meet?

I've met Julie Andrews twice and Cheno once.
I would like to meet Banderas.
I've met BD Wong once. I would like to spend at least a day with him (if he wont agree to the rest of our lives.)

You may have a chance, Glebb, now that BD is back on the market.

re: Who Would You Meet?

BD Wong and his partner split?? When?!

I swear, the Star should start covering Broadway romances, not just Hollywood ones.

re: Who Would You Meet?

Mr. Wong gave me the feeling I was in the presence of an angel when we met after a performance of Pacific Overtures.
He was totally kind. He signed my program and took a pic with me and my group. He and I were right next to each other - in each others arm. Touching!!!!!
