re: The actor/actress that you...

"well i'd have to say jessica snow wilson is my least favourite actress. it's not that she's untalented, but she was a pain in the booty to work with and i can't see someone i don't like in a show, and know how they are off-stage." How is she a pain? (Just curious...)

re: So ya...I am in a lockdown right now...

Elphaba: I've never been in a lockdown (considering I've always lived in a small town where everyone believes everything's safe), so forgive my naivity, but how DID you post on BWW during one?

I also seem to have bad luck with the people I'm seated next to. During the Little Shop tour, this man sat there crunching his popcorn; it sounded like gravel. On the other side of me, some teenage girl was talking to who I assume was her boyfriend, on her cell phone. And when I went to see Hairspray, this little six-year-old girl was running back and forth through the row trying to sing along. And there was this person behind me who kept screaming encouragements; like when Cindy said "If we ...

re: Most embarassing moment in a Broadway show

When I went to see CATS, I had an aisle seat and, having never seen the show before, I was sitting very comfortably. That is, until, one of the cats tripped over my leg as it was running down the aisle...

re: john travolta as edna

Wouldn't they have to change a few things in the play if a woman played Edna? I mean, Bette Midler really would make a great Edna, but the "No, I'm not her father!" line wouldn't be quite as funny... As for Travolta as Edna; I was very against the idea at first. Now I've decided to just wait and see how the movie ends up. If the movie is horrible (which most movie-musicals are, in my opinion), then at least we'll have something to laugh about.

re: Lead Actor in a Musical....

Curry and Butz are more than likely going to be nominated. Other than that, I have no clue - mukustrap's right, it's a bit early to tell.

re: Singers that make you say; WTF?

The ENTIRE cast of "The Chicago Musical Revue Plays Selections From Les Miserables " It's enough to make any Miz fan cringe. Well, except Eponine...of course...

Best Theatre Camps

Feb 18, 2005 — 1:39:34 PM

Inspired by the CAMP posts, which do you think is the best theatre camp in America? P.S. I tried searching for a related post and couldn't find anything, so I'm sorry if this has been discussed recently.

re: Albums that grow on you...

The Last 5 Years took awhile to grow on me too. I hate to say this, but so did Phantom, Into the Woods, and Avenue Q. As far as trying to like something, Follies hasn't had much of an impression of me and neither has Finian's Rainbow - I do seem to be listening to the latter more, though.
