I'm going to try to rush Sister Act for the evening performance this Wednesday but I can't get there until about 10am when the box office opens. Does anybody have any idea if I'll be able to get two tickets or are they tough to come by if you aren't there super early? Thanks!

Sorry, but your chances are slim to none. Last Wednesday, the last people to get tickets got on line at around 7:45.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

Okay thanks so much for the help. I had no clue it was so popular with rushers.

Yeah, it's crazy because there are so few tickets (14 total, per performance). I rushed last Wednesday and got there at 7:00 (was second in line) and by 7:45 the line was around the block and all tickets were accounted for.

The number of tickets (or lack thereof) would explain it then. I haven't been into the city in a while and unfortunately my bus doesn't arrive until 9:45. Do you have any suggestions of shows that are easier to get rush tix for without arriving so early? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm, being that it is the summer and people normally in school are out, it is hard to get rush tickets when arriving that late.
Avenue Q i know is easier, Memphis possibly. HAIR has a lotto & lotto losers for $10 more later in the day.
