While I'm in this thread I might as well ask if ANYONE knows how to contact John Kander? I've been trying for months. I tried the Chicago stagedoor, I tried the Dramatists Guild- no luck. I should have tried the Cutains stagedoor when it was running, but I never thought of it. He seems like the nicest man and I'm such a fan of his work.

Also, in each envelope I wrote a short letter saying how wonderful they are etc.. and politely requesting a playbill signed. Is that ok? thank you

Just got back my picture with Angela personalized as well as an autograph on my DVD cover of "The Picture of Dorian Gray." Thanks Angie! They will be cherished.
I mailed them toward the end of the run of "Blithe Spirit."

They Take forever, and are often unpredictable with mail I have a friend who got one back within 2 weeks, and it was in color signed by the whoel cast, and another friend who got on e back that was blank, torn, and with a rather rude not about how the cast did not sign playbills. Mine was in Black and White, signed byt the entire cast.

I wonder if Matt Cavenaugh will be sending back any requests since he is leaving West Side Story soon.

I'm writing to a few shows that are on tour. I heard that some Playbills in other citys are not the same size as the usual kinds. Would it be fine if I just send my SASE that is the size of a regular Playbill? And if anyone know which cities has irregular sized Playbills, please tell me.
EDIT(8:57): Also, since I live near the city, who should I give my package to if I just want to give the letter in person. (So I won't have to pay postage. :/)

1. Last week, I sent a request and Playbill to Rhiannon Hansen of the "Legally Blonde: The Musical" tour. Today, I received a letter from Rhiannon and the Playbill back signed... by the whole cast!
2. When Carly Jibson was doing NYMF's "Fat Camp" in October, I sent her a letter. Today, I received a signature from her.
