Who is "Phantom" 's Best Christine?

I've see the show a few times but have to say that I was knocked out by Julie Hansen. I saw her on tour a few years ago and now she's on Broadway! She has a beautiful voice and I was suprised to see another Oklahoma City University grad starring on Broadway. I didn't like Lisa Vroman eventhough she's ALW's favorite. Any thoughts?

I've heard a recording of Lisa Vroman singing "Think of Me" and she was absolutely fantastic. She sustained the note at the end of the cadenza, and she even opted to take the alternate higher key change, making the note at the end of the cadenza a C, rather than a Bb.

Lisa Vroman is by far my favorite. Saw her originally in SF and then LA. Actually have had the pleasure of speaking with her on the phone several times. Had booked her to sing at my wedding.

Lisa Vroman is my favorite.

However, no one is qualified to answer the original question, unless they've seen every performer who's ever played Christine.

Didn't like Julie when I saw her. Might've been an off night (and we discussed this), but her pitch was all over the place and it seemed more like screeching than singing. Of course, it was my first time seeing Phantom, but I could tell that something was wrong. Hugh and John just blew me away, however.
