Who is next for "God Of Carnage"??

On June 20th, the current cast of Jeff Daniels, Janet McTeer, Lucy Liu, and Dylan Baker will be departing and a new cast will be coming in shortly after.

Post any specualtive cast replacements you want (but please, no over-the-top guessing, I like to keep a serious thread).

Word is that it will be closing with the current cast on that date. Apparently Reza has casting approval and they can't agree on replacements (is what I've heard).

Wow, um, I did not anticipate that.
I was hoping even slighty that Allison Janney would join as Veronica...she'd be perfect

I wouldn't be surprised. There were rumors of an all-black cast, but Reza, who has always been concerned about the production being too American, probably wouldn't approve.

Plus, although the show recouped a looooonnnnnggg time ago, attendance lately has been less than optimal (averaging about 60% every week)

^ I think ATC is as credible as Wikipedia...Don't you think they would've announced it so they sell out the remainder of the run?

Totally disagree. Many of the posters there are in the industry and are typically very credible sources. The poster "caesargus" has posted information that has turned out to be correct in the past. I would believe it. My guess is that this was a recent development (past week) and an official release will come out either tomorrow or Tuesday.
