I feel like those parts are a stamp of approval across the board, if i see that in a bio i always think "well we know she can sing"

That night I saw Kaye Ballard as Elphaba and Charles Nelson Reilly as Gerlinda ... boy, that was the worst!

Kaye was a great Elphaba especially when teamed with Cathy Rigby's Fieyro.

worst: the Lisbon WICKED with Eve Harrington as Glinda and Vera Charles as Elphaba. They were fine but Vera had gotten Mame Dennis the part of one of the monkees and well you can just imagine...

best: the Vegas WICKED with Helen Lawson as Glinda and Neely O'Hara as Elphaba. Neely had just gotten out of rehab and was at the top of her form. Helen told Neely she would appear with her on one condition: that they do the show in Vegas because "VegASSSS does go for booze and dope!"
