Who is the Telecharge voice?

When I called Telecharge today to order tickets to see Donna Murphy in Dolly, the service rep who answered sounded EXACTLY like the basso profundo sounding guy who is on the Telecharge recording - "Hello, welcome to Telecharge..." and does all the announcements while you are on hold. So, I said to him, "Are you THAT guy, you sound just like him." He knew what I meant and laughed and said indeed it was him. I said he must be rich from making all those recordings... he laughed again and said no, not quite. Nice man. very helpful. Just wondering if he is some kind of Broadway legend of the service industry.

ETA: He is a huge Broadway fan, sees a lot of shows.
