Gee. I don't know, Adam? Well, Adam as a performer. Off-stage, that's a title that goes to the lovely Anthony Rapp, truly one of the most wonderful people I have ever met.
ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! ANTHONY RAPP! "Nothing is an accident, We are free to have it all, We are what we want to be, It's in ourselves to rise or fall!!" - "Fortune Favors the Brave" from Aida - the love that never died
okay, having never seen the OBC live, I have to use different criteria
From a talented/performer standpoint, Adam and Idina. I adore Adam's voice on the CD and really look forward to finally seeing him in the movie. I also saw him live in Aida and while perhaps his singing overshadowed his acting, I still love him. Idina of course I saw in Wicked and well fell in love with her performance from the beginning of "Wizard and I"
Was gonna write it anyway, but totally agree with Em, Anthony definitely as a person. Soo nice, just...everything about him I love. Unfortunatley, never saw him on stage. But I guess...if I had to pick one, probably him, you gotta love sweet actors that do everything possible for their fans.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.
It's hard, they're all so great. But if I had to pick one, it would be Dee Menzel. Edit: But if I had to pick a male as well, it would be my man Adam.

Daphne Rubin-Vega of course, I have never seen any of the OBC but from the OBCR, I love her voice, it is so unique and it is so 'Mimi.' I'm so sad she couldn't be in the movie, I know she's too old. I also have her CD 'Souviners' and I love it.
Adam Pascal is my second favourite, his voice is amazing, it gives me chills. I can't wait to see him in the movie.
I love Idina Menzel too, she has the most amazing, powerful voice I have ever heard and I wish I could have see her in RENT

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

"And when Idina Menzel is singing, I'm always slightly worried that her teeth are going to jump out of her mouth and chase me." - Schmerg_the_Impaler
