On the OBC CD, Anthony Rapp (never saw it live, so can't judge that). However, on the cast album, they really are all fantastic. *lurves them all*
"I mean, how many of us could honestly say that at one time or another he hasn't set fire to some great public building?"

ADAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Something is stirring,
Shifting ground...
It's just begun.
Edges are blurring
All around,
And yesterday is done.

Okay, I just scared myself...
Something is stirring,
Shifting ground...
It's just begun.
Edges are blurring
All around,
And yesterday is done.

A tie between Idina Menzel and Anthony Rapp. I've never seen the show, so i can't base it on live performances, only from the OCR.

No contest for me: Jesse L. Martin! I acted with him in a couple of shows when we went to school at the Buffalo Academy for Visual & Performing Arts in the 80s. Everyone knew he would go far. Thank goodness we were right!
Praying Decca Broadway will put "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope" on CD!

Anthony..no question about it
currently it's Anthony and Adam though.
currently it's Anthony and Adam though.
And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps...
What did she realize, Kitten?
That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs.
What's wrong with that?
Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had...
Where?
On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

Idina Menzel.
I'm not a gay stereotype. I'm a coincidence.

That is a extremely hard question...
Probably Anthony Rapp.
Probably Anthony Rapp.

To show my gratitude, I'll offer you this pointy black hat, which is just like the one Original Wicked Witch Margaret Hamilton wore in the movie!
IDINA MENZEL
What a great idea! How about throughout the play, you continue to offer me things like a black cloak, or a black
cape, or a broom to make me look more and more like Margaret Hamilton did! These attempts at humor will be painfully
predictable from a mile away!
AUDIENCE collectively groans.

I think It's Idina and Taye...I often have dreams about a 3-way with them.
"It does what a musical is supposed to do; it takes you to another world. And it gives you a little tune to carry in your head. Something to take you away from the dreary horrors of the real world. A little something for when you're feeling blue. You know?"

never saw the OBC, but from the recording and various things i've seen/heard about them...
i think my favorites would have to be jesse, wilson and anthony tied. jesse because his voice is amazing and he's just great, wilson for the same reason (oh and for working those heels so well), and anthony because he is the epitome of the rent spirit.
plus, he's a sweetie. :)

JACK: Shut up, Patti LuPone! Shut your brassy, magnificent trap! I don't wanna hear you sing. I don't wanna cut your hair. And I certainly don't wanna hear you singing while I'm cutting your hair! Got it?! Now I'm talking to my best friend, so stand back, Buenos Aires!"- from Will & Grace

I may get yelled at, but I guess Idina......
Though if I had to pick between Mark/Anthony and Adam/Roger, I'd easily go with the Mark/Anthony Combo!!!!!!
I'm also kinda fond of Freddi and Daphne, but I'll vote for Idina.

Aghhh so hard to choose.
I'd really probably have to say Anthony Rapp with Daphne in second place and so on and so forth. But its all pretty close in the end, I love them all. :-P

I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart.

As I never saw it with the OBC, I can't really say, but based off the Orginal Cast Album, I'll go with Anthony Rapp being my favorite.

Anthony Rapp as Mark.
