at least you haven't got paul nicholas in the lead like here in the uk
No one can use a scrunchie as an acting crutch like Hasselhoff.
Is he still big in Germany?
This is a gag, right ?
Mrs. Hasselhoff
I have to say it every time someone brings up this topic... I honestly don't mind him in the role. It's the Broadway script I can't stand...
Just let me say that it has been a few years now since I saw David Hasselhoff as Jekyll and Hyde, and I still haven't gotten over the shock of how ridiculously bad he was.
Thank you.
i dont know what is worse his performance or the fact that it is documented forever on Video.
Some of his gestrures in TITH look like he was auditioning from Saturday Night Fever. Yet others he looked like a chipmunk
His confrontation was not bad. He played HYDE like an escapee from a funny farm instead of pure evil
Saw him on TV the other day. He was SO. BAD.
*raises hand* I do!.....................................HAHAHA JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That man really made me laugh when i watched that show on HBO. As soon as i finished watching it, i ran to my room and put the concept version on... now THATS Jekyll and Hyde!
Yes, I miss him. The forever scarred child in me misses him terribly.

Me, me, me!!! When I'm depressed about my own acting and singing abilities, I pull out the video of his performance and think, "Man, am I great!" No one can deliver a line like him. It's like he doesn't even know what the words he's saying mean. Ah, a joy to behold. A triumph for all those who cannot even achieve mediocrity!
Oh Tasselhoof, why do you ruin musicals?!

Anybody see that music video of him a while back? The singing was merely below average- but the blue-screen work was hilariously bad. And yes, I think he's still big in Germany. But considering the fact that William Hung got a record contract, I don't think the U.S. is in any position to laugh. Updated On: 10/20/04 at 10:54 PM

Makes me long for the days of a man and his car.
A man and his car and their love which dare not speak its name.
How about Knightrider The Musical ?
