Who remembers Cloris Leachman's sitcom PHYLLIS?

Hi hi!

It looks like "Cloris: My Autobiography" has been pushed back to April 7th.

I watched the tv movie "A Brand New Life" starring Cloris, with Barbara Colby in a small part as a high-strung Opera singer. Pre-"Phyllis", of course.

I remember Barbara wrote in a program of a play she was acting in: "Miss Colby has all her own teeth..."!

Bumping this because I just read that Cloris will be speaking about "Phyllis," "Mary Tyler Moore," and her other television roles at the Paley Center For Media on 52nd St. next Tuesday in conversation with Robert Osborne. Cloris doing a book signing too. She's also signing her book at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes and Nobel next Thursday.

And yes, Barbara Colby was Ethel Merman's daughter-in-law. Barbara and Ethel's son, Bob, were separated at the time of her death, though. Brian Kellow's recent Merman bio said that Ethel attended her funeral and was shocked to see Barbara had been a member of some kind of religious organization that did not please Ethel.
