Yeah, I kind of miss having something to look forward to every day so that school passes faster. It was fun waiting for updates to come up because I got so excited every time.
At least there's the DVD to anticipate.

eh, I've already moved on to Producer anticipation.
And after that, I'll be in Dreamgirls anticipation mode.
I am glad it's finally here. I can now go see it in whenever whim presents. It's lovely.
Besides, I will now anticipate the DVD and commentary/deleted scenes.

Posted: 12/11/05 at 12:27pmAs much fun as waiting for the RENT movie was, I don't really miss the the anticipation that much because now I can see the movie whenever i want. The only thing i'm really going to miss are the RENT blog updates. . . .I always loved the behind-the-scenes clips. Hopefully there'll be more on the DVD.

i don't really miss it but think of it this way you can now anticipate
A. The DVD release and
B. The "how am I going to make a grand, maybe i'll sell a kidney on the black market" to go to the 10 year benefit. :)

I'm not going to miss the 4am meltdowns where I'm freaking out about whether the movie is going to be good. Or eating only a small fries the whole day I saw it because I was so nervous that I felt sick. Or avoiding listening to tick, tick...BOOM! because I would burst into tears. I felt like I was on crack for weeks on end because of this movie.
But the euphoria that followed finally seeing it made it all worth it. I'm not going to miss it, I'm going to remember it fondly.

the.hard.part, that "sell a kidney" remark cracked me up!
But seriously, I suppose I will in a sense miss the anticipation, but like everyone is saying, I'll eagerly await the DVD release. Plus, being of other interests, now that RENT is out in theatres, I can focus on things like fantasy and Renaissance faires

Posted: 12/11/05 at 1:35pmYeah, when I saw it the first time, I was so happy that I was seeing it and I would get to see it as many times as I want, but I was also sad that there would be no more anticipation or waiting. I had kind of gotten used to that.

Ya I miss it, and I miss the 1st time, but now I get to see it almost whenever I want which is really cool.
I'm realllly excited for the dvd, but I'm also not because then I can never watch it with a bunch of friends in a big theater with surround sound..

Posted: 12/11/05 at 2:00pmI'm definitely going to miss it. I'm ESPECIALLY going to miss the RENT blog! I know they've been keeping it up lately, but they're gonna run out of things to post at some point!

I already miss it, lol. I have never been this excited for a movie ever. I'm really happy it's out though. I can't see it whenever I want until the DVD comes out though. I'll probably only see it once more before it comes out on DVD.
It makes me sad, RENT is only in one theatre, one showing and the movie theatre is on the other side of the city from me.
