Ok, don't get me wrong, I love Wicked. But srsly? Again? Has no one told them that there are other talented people out there. All of these actresses agreeing to be in the production sooo many times are falling into the dreaded Jennifer Holiday trap. We should warn them ASAP!

At the Gershwin Theatre, if you ask the person at the lobby merchandise booth for a seating chart, they have sheets with a seating chart on one side and a Frequently Asked Questions list on the back. In the FAQ, one of the questions is, "Who is currently starring in the show?" The response lists the current stars and also states that Kerry Ellis will be joining the cast and that Kendra Kassebaum will be returning to the show, along with the specific dates.

I have spoken with Kendra about her return to Wicked on two separate occasions. The most recent one was about a month ago. She will be returning unless things have changed within the last month.

I believe that she was let out of her contract early to do The Receptionist with the understanding that she would return to the show. I could be completely wrong about that, but I have heard that. That would explain the "recycling."
