But it says Kendra's returning on the 14th... a Wednesday? Maybe Katie Adams or Heather Spore or Lindsey K. Northern will go on on the 13th. I'm tempted to get a ticket for the 13th to see one of them.
Also announced is the new Morrible - Jayne Houdyshell, to return on June 17th. So I guess Miriam is leaving the same day as Stephanie. When/where did Houdyshell play the role before? Even the Morribles are recycled? Jeez.

Good God. Again? I love Kendra but come on, she (and some other WICKED stars) need to move on. Its a great show but there is only so far you can go before you get bored with the role and start showing it in your performence. Kerry Ellis is having a EXTREME case of that. She looks so bored, wonderful talent but still. Grrr

I guess Annaleigh was the most recent new Glinda if you don't count she understudied the role on tour. So if you don't count her the last brand new person on Broadway was Megan Hilty. The last new non-recylced Elphaba on Broadway was Eden Espinosa. She was only a standby originally and had never played the part full time till then.

I was always under the impression that Annaleigh was filling in for Kendra while she was on her break(Receptionist). Anyway I would like to see some fresh faces too(Like Katie Rose was for the tour) but I am extremely excited that Kerry is coming to Broadway since that's the only way I would have ever gotten a chance to see her.

Oh perfect! We just bought tickets for May 9th... and I wanted to figure out who we were seeing. It seems rather difficult to find accurate concrete info... or I'm looking in the wrong places!

I thought Miriam was leaving June 1st, but it wouldn't make sense to have three weeks of understudies. Im thinking she may have extended.

Speaking as someone who thinks the world of the original touring cast, it's thrilling to know that Stephanie will end her WICKED contract on broadway, and with Kendra. They are fantastic together!

I never got to see Steph and Kendra together yet but if they have 1/4 the chemistry that her and Annaleigh have I will be a happy person. My first time seeing them together will also be Steph's last.
