Thanks! I guess belting could get old after a couple hours!
Well I really can't say which 1's the best belle. i mean the actresses i thought were really gd were;
Susan Egan
Megan McGinnis
Kerry Butler
Ashley Brown
Those girls are really great actresses but if i have to make my mind up right now.... i go for Susan Egan.
Also,I have to agree that Toni Braxton wasn't that good as well. I liked her song 'Unbreak My Heart'. But I think she's better off singing than acting.
I saw the show in july 2001. I cant remember who played Belle at that time but i thought the actress then was really good in me owm opinion

Christianne Tisdale was one of my favorites.
Susan is a hands down #1....followed VERY closely by Ashley

The first Belle I ever saw was the best:
KERRY BUTLER. Everything she does is great, so although I don't remember how she sounds in this, I can picture it in my ears. She sounds so beautiful.
Christy Carlson Romano nailed SOME of the notes, but she doesn't have as good as voice as Kerry or Ashley. I so wanna see it with Ashley Brown, having just did it at my camp.

You just can't get sick of a good musical like BatB. I know I don't.
Susan Egan was stunning, but I personally liked Sarah Uriarte Berry in the role best. McArdle was no good.

I liked Sarah Litzsinger...I worked with her on a concert production of Annie Get Your Gun, and I think she is very talented.

Favorite was Kerry Butler - least favorite was Debbie Gibson - but, the best shoulders for the ball gown goes to Andrea McArdle! LOL!
Susan Egan.

Yes.

...although I did quite enjoy Ashley Browne's performance. As much as I'd love to see Laura Benanti play Mary Poppins, if she doesn't, I think Ashley would be stunning in the role.

Belle Watling. She was the best Belle ever.
I don't know... I simply adore Ashley Brown. In a way... she sounds like Paige from the movie, and I grew up on the movie... therefore she appeals to me... but it is an original interpretation... just she exudes a ...Belle...ness...

Yes I have heard of Sarah Litzsinger. I saw her in George Street Playhouse's productions of "Tick, Tick...BOOM!" and "Last 5 Years." For the latter production, one of the employees of the theater actually got them to sign a poster for me (he kinda figured out I knew the score because I sang it silently to myself), and I didn't even meet them after the show.
It was an awesome experience.
Oh, you were talking about Beauty and the Beast? Okay, sorry.
I saw Jamie Lynn Siglar, and thought she was wonderful.
A perfect, Belle.

Kim Huber wins overall Belle for me. Litzinger had the fiercest "Change in Me", Jennifer Shrader was wonderful on the tour, and Ashley Brown is REALLY solid on Broadway right now.
I thought Danyelle Bossardet was revolting.
Ashley Brown's "A Change in Me" was wonderful. Of course, she's the best belle ever.
