I think they will delay a decision until after opening. Reports that Applegate is permenantly out of the show were premature. If it looks like she might actually pull through and join the cast, I'm sure she'll do it.

If she leaves the show permenently, the recording might not happen. Its becoming increasingly difficult to get backing for Cast Recordings.
