There are more anti-Wicked fan posts then pro-Wicked (the show) posts.

LOL Millie, I agree with that too. It's how everything is presented, I guess I have come to associate Wicked threads with being less mature and insightful compared to other ones (which isn't bad, just different).

I mean, I'll share this story with you all - I saw Wicked on Wednesday for the sheer purpose of seeing it before Idina left the show, because my tickets I had first received are for January 23rd. Though I absolutely loved it, and found Idina to be brilliant in the role, my main priority wasn't to come back here and to gush over how AMAZINGGGG and INSPIRATIONALLLL she was to me. I feel those things, but I don't make it my only purpose on this board to express it. That's just me, though.

I've seen "Wicked" twice and I've enjoyed it. I also agree with luvtheEmcee that "it's hardly "the best thing ever,"" It's the obsession with the show and with its stars that I actually find kind of frighting. When I read how, for some people, it's the main thing in their lives, then what was reported in the New York Post today does not actually surprise me. Don't get me wrong, I know that the majority of the fans are very far from that sicko in the papers but there just seems to be a limited prospective from a few fans. It's the ONLY thing that they will post about and no matter what's the subject of the thread, especially if it's not "Wicked" related, they will find a way to bring "Wicked" into it. That seems to be something that annoys a lot of people on this board. I know that the majority of "Wicked" fans just love the show and want to have a good time expressing that love on this board with other fans and friends but I must say that SOME of those fans have stretched it to such a strong level of fanaticism that if I had a major part in the show and were to follow some of the posts on this board I would certainly watch my back.

Dot - you're not alone, I check it way too much myself. If the buzz isn't updated, I get a little cranky. LOL!

Pab - you're also right - I sometimes wonder what a member of the cast would think if they were to read this stuff.. I'd be scared.
