Well, this one is on me.
I did look up references to baguette before I posted this whole thing and found it was a slang term for a young, lanky soccer player so I thought that was going to be the "cute" eventual answer as an affectionate term for a young male. Though I was still puzzled because they had only played cricket and "ruggers" or rugby at school that they speak of.
So last night I guess my ears were either more open or the acoustics were better, because "baguette" turned into: "To forget!"
