That interview was great. Hell, if I was involved in the production of SC, I wouldn't want to ever do another musical again, either! He makes it sound like everyone in the cast loved each other, but knew what they were up against. I would LOVE to see ANY of the backstage film he has from all the productions he's been in!

The man truly is a class act. I got a chance to speak and walk with him a few blocks after a matinee in Minneapolis. He was genuine and sweet. I like the fact he calls it like he sees it. And he's a true inspiration!!

I was in Boston the day that they thought the show was closing...so I'm somewhere on his footage looking like an idiot (with my friend Noah, who is NO idiot..._)

Ya see, Denis has this surprisingly rare habit of actually posing WITH HIS BOYFRIEND at these events. And often they are actually AFFECTIONATE with each other, too.

Terrence McNally has been known to do this with his hubby as well.

He's like the gay male Cher. (If that's not too redundant.) Telling it like it is. Keeping it real. But thus far no startling plastic surgery, so that's a way he's unlike Cher.
