Becasue I won't have to listen to bloody Sarah "freak of nature" Brightman everytime I want to listen to the score. We finally get another option when listening to Poto! Yay!
Of course Emmy might be just as bad. I hope Gerard is good, hes so hot......

What kind of reason is that? You've always had other options.
If you're talking about just English language cast recordings, there's the Canadian cast recording with Rebecca Caine, and the JAY studio recording with Claire Moore.

what I have heard of Emmy (through her resume and whatnot) she is supposed to be a PHENOMENAL singer. Also, there is a canadian version with Colm Wilkinson as the PHANTOM and Rebecca Caine as CHRISTINE that you might like. Here is a website that you can go and listen to clips.
