Does anyone here know why The Helpmann Awards have not reconvened since the pandemic? The website gives no indication of a return and it seems it hasn’t been updated since 2020. The presenter, Live Performance Australia, has not said anything about its future either. Is the Tony and Oliver award equivalent for Australian theatre just not returning?
