Okay, we are also taking this from a man who said that "Seascape" was about lizards. I think there is quite a bit more of beautiful writing there than a simple story abut lizards.
Is there anybody else who doesn't think Spring Awakening should win? I didn't really think it was that 'revolutionary'. (In fact, certain elements bother me-example, I don't like the actors pulling out the mikes all the time. I find it distracting. Also, the character development is awful. Most of the time, I don't feel anything for them.)
IMO-GG should win, probably won't. I think it'll go to Rabbit Hole or some straight play.

Rabbit Hole was nominated last year but there was no winner selected, correct?
I dont think SA should win. In fact, it might make a little sick to the stomach if it does.

I don't see how it could even be considered. It's not a new play. Just a new musical based on an old play.
Rabbit Hole was not eligible last year - it's eligible THIS year.
I agree with your thoughts on SPRING AWAKENING. I don't understand for the life of me why people seem to think it's the second coming.
If any musical deserves the Pulitzer this year, it's Grey Gardens. It is highly unlikely that that will happen though.
Do we know what did win it?

It'll be announced Monday.
or it might not win the pulitzer prize cause its a bad musical full of good songs.
