CatsNYrevival-

As I said at the beginning of this thread, every show has its fans, not everyone is one. Being a fan of WICKED, or for that matter, ANY show, does not make you uneducated. Trying to belittle fans of a given show and personally attack them just because you don't like what they do...THAT'S uneducated.

Mimi- This is not mean hearted at all, I think Rent is a good show but if you think it's the best show ever created then you really need to see more theatre.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

'I've seen the show many times. I really like the music and the message the show stands for. But I don't understand why people overly obsess over it....uhhumm....rentheads.'

You're forgetting something. What about the hype over Wicked? Or Avenue Q? Or Millie? Seriously, ALL shows have their fans, all of which people tend to overly obses over. Especially Wicked. I'm sure I'm not the only one who does not understand the big deal over this show, but I'm not going to question other people's opinions.

The one thing that may or may not been mentioned is that its different for everyone. the reason why everyone is having a problem explaining their love for the show is because of this. Everyone has their own unique reason for loving it. The characters are so diverse that so many different people can identify with it.

I completely agree with NYSTATEOFMIND04 said. "i think younger generations finally found a medium between their culture and broadway and that is why it is genius."

For me i can relate to what was said. It was the first show i really connected with. I was in 7th grade and like everyone that was a hard time. When i was upset i found solice in "one song glory" and when i was happy would turn on "la vie bohome" or many other ones. It also stresses people to be themselves. And growing up on that i believe was one of the greatest things possible.

Though scattered and divided we are still its heart...AIDA SEPTEMBER 5th, 2004...one more longing backward glance... I AM NOW "TGIF!"
