Posted: 9/14/04 at 10:50ami saw it at the national theatre. i was only 11 at the time, but i remember HATING IT and actually being offended by how ridiculous it was. my parents and the audience i remember hated it too. it was just a terrible, terrible show. the worst thing i have ever seen. just really, really bad. the set was like a huge cross that was supposed to be a telephone pole or something. god, i hated that show. bleh.

Posted: 9/14/04 at 12:33pmALW really is hit or miss on Broadway. Sunset Blvd crashed and burned, yet Phantom and Cats are so popular. I find this really odd, as I love ALW's music. Just my opinion
